Over the span of her career, LaNella has helped numerous CEOs and C-level executives improve their personal brand. She also has facilitated personal branding workshops for hundreds of individuals participating in corporate, as well as university and professional leadership development programs.

Her clients have included: Johnson & Johnson, Rutgers University, ARAMARK and Carnegie Mellon University. She also leads personal branding and advocacy workshops for various women’s development associations.

Before starting her practice, she held vice president and director level positions at Johnson & Johnson, Lincoln Financial Group and PNC Bank leading corporate communication and marketing communication programs. She also served as an adjunct professor at New York University’s Graduate School of Public Relations and Communications where she taught PR Management and Brand Development courses.

She’s won numerous awards from industry organizations such as the International Association of Business Communicators, the National Association of Investor Corp.(NAIC) and the American Business Communicators.  

A native of Pittsburgh, PA, she received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. degree in Marketing Communications from Duquesne University. She’s also participated in an executive leadership program at Harvard Business School and is a graduate of Leadership Philadelphia. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the National Black MBA Association and the National Association of Professional Women.
